Privacy policy

This website collects as little personal data as possible. Here is what we process, why, and what rights you have.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

NeoCarbon GmbH
Im Marienpark 16
12107 Berlin
Germany
E-mail: impressum@neocarbon.tech

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is a static site served via a content delivery network (CDN). When you visit it, the CDN processes your IP address and standard connection data (requested URL, date and time, and browser type) in server logs. This processing is technically necessary to deliver the site to your device and to protect it against attacks and abuse.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short period.

3. Contact form and e-mail inquiries

If you contact us through the form on this website or by e-mail, we process the data you provide, name, company, e-mail address, phone number, and your message, solely to answer your inquiry and to handle any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, or performance of a contract). We do not use this data for marketing and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website currently uses no tracking cookies and no analytics services. We do not build usage profiles of visitors.

5. External links

This website links to external services such as LinkedIn. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence on the data processing of external providers.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at impressum@neocarbon.tech. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin data protection authority (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

7. Retention

We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise. Afterwards it is deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the website or legal requirements change, for example, if we introduce new features that process personal data. The current version is always available on this page.
