NeoCarbon has reached a major milestone by securing its first multi-year offtake agreement for Direct Air Capture (DAC) carbon removal credits with Milkywire's Climate Transformation Fund.
The selection was highly competitive: 280 durable carbon removal suppliers applied to Milkywire's third open call, with only 15 projects ultimately selected based on their quality, scalability, and catalytic potential. The purchase was made possible thanks to the support of Milkywire's corporate partners, including Spotify, Klarna, Bolt, and others.
For NeoCarbon, the agreement is more than a commercial contract, it is proof of how far the company has come. What began just three years ago with a handful of components on a lab table has evolved into a company that has built two autonomous DAC units and now signed its first long-term commercial agreement.
A multi-year offtake gives durable carbon removal what it needs most: predictable demand. It lets NeoCarbon plan deployments with confidence and gives buyers verified, high-quality removal credits from capture units that run on industrial waste heat rather than dedicated energy supply.
