Join our innovative and rapidly growing CleanTech start-up as a Business Development Intern and play a vital role in addressing one of humanity's most pressing challenges: paving the way for a carbon negative future. At NeoCarbon, you will work closely with the CEO and Partnerships manager to further develop customer relationships with the aim to reach CO2 removal on a Gigaton scale. We developed the first customer relationships and now aim to expand this with your help. The ideal candidate has an open and outgoing attitude, likes to make new connections, and already has initial experience in a business development role.

What you will do

  • Conduct market research on most promising go-to-market industries
  • Gather the most interesting companies within these industries, and support in the full sales cycle from initial reach out to a potential agreement
  • Further develop our business model for our revenue streams
  • Present NeoCarbon to a wider audience at various events
  • Assist in writing (German) grants
  • Support the CEO and Partnerships manager with venture building tasks
  • As we are a young and ambitious team, there are probably more day-to-day tasks to help with than what is listed above :)

What we are looking for

  • Most importantly: you are excited to join a fast-growing start-up with the aim to make a difference in the world!
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree in various fields with a strong interest in business development
  • Outgoing personality and you make new connections easily
  • Fluency in German (this is a requirement due to potential assistance for German grants)
  • Initial understanding of business development aspects (cost price calculations, market analysis, etc.)
  • Self-starting and entrepreneurial mindset
  • You are available for an internship of 4-5 days per week for the coming 4-6 months, and the internship can start as soon as possible
  • Optional: a technical background helps to understand the technology better and leverage this knowledge for business development
